Patrick Landgraf

Labor Trustee

Patrick is a 36 year member of SMART. He started his apprenticeship in 1979 and completed it in 1985. He worked with the tools for 19 years and was union steward for 9 of those years before becoming an organizer for local 18. He served as an organizer from July or 1998 until November of 2002 when he became a business agent in the Sheboygan area. He served as a business agent from 2002 until July of 2008 when he was appointed as the business manager when the current manager went to work for the international. He continues to serve as the President/Business Manager 2008 to the present having been elected 3 times to serve in that capacity. He is currently the Chairman of the State Health and Welfare Fund and is a trustee on the Fox Valley Health and Welfare Fund. He also serves as a trustee on the statewide local pension fund, and a 401-K fund in the Milwaukee area and is on the AFL-CIO executive board in Wisconsin.

In November of 2011 he was appointed the 10th General Vice President of the International and was re-elected in 2014 as a General Vice President currently serving as the 4th General Vice President. He also is the Co-Chair of the International Certification Board for NEMI, and has sat on various committees for the international. He looks forward to serving on the National Pension Fund as a trustee in helping make decisions that are in the best interest of the members and the fund alike.

Patrick is married to his wife of 32 years Karen, and they have a son Jonathan who is married to daughter-in-law Vicky, and he has one grandson Jacob Patrick who is the apple of his grandmother and grandfather’s eye. When he gets free time he likes to play golf and get together with family and friends.
